I am so excited to be blogging!! okay so a couple people have commented on the last line of my last blog earlier today.. some sweet friends of ours from church are adopting a baby from Ethiopia sometime this year (the Lord willing) and this is something I heard her say last Sunday at church while sharing their testimony.. That God doesn't call the equipped, he equips the called.. and i loved it and it rings so true!! We are all called to do something or other.. and when we are.. He provides for us what we need.
well i havent blogged in quite some time.. i really love reading Jodi's blog and I think about reading others blogs but it hasn't happened naturally.. I am guessing if i start writing in my own then naturally i will begin remembering to read others!! I don't really understand how to work this thang yet.. like add pictures, link to others blogs, etc. I am sure in time i will figure it out.. or maybe this summer Jodi can come over and teach me!! Today is an exciting day.. My step sister Loren is having her second baby girl! I don't like saying step sister.. i usually just say sister. Anywho, baby Claire is scheduled to make her grand entrance into this world at 12:15 via C-section! I would be at the hospital right now but my baby girl (i mean big girl) Avery is sick with stomach bug.. Sooo we will not be going to the hospital at all.. Drews at school..only 14 more days of kindergarten left!! I cannot believe that my baby is 6 12 yrs old and almost a 1st grader!! I tell you what i remember like it was yesterday when i was at the hospital counting the hrs til my C section to meet Drew for the first time.. Talk about a joyful, exciting, terrifying, humbling, amazing day.. I will never forget when the doctor said oh Kim he's kicking his legs!! God is so good.. He doesn't call the equipped.. He equips the called..

The Bell Family

Well I have finally bitten the bullet and starting a blog!! 2008 has been such an exciting year for our family! Bryan started his own business back in March called Bell Classic Homes. God is blessing it and we are thankful, bc as you know the market is not exactly ideal right now! Avery is 6 and loving first grade. She plays soccer and likes to read and of course play with her little brother.. Drew is growing up so fast! I cannot believe that "baby Drew" is now 5. He is in pre school and likes to ride his tricycle. Drew is starting to walk independantly some and we could not be more thankful or proud! God is so good and has supplied us so beautifully with what we need to raise this special boy! I am subbing at the kids school a couple times a week and busy with running our home and church activities. Bryan and I have been married for 9 yrs now and just seems impossible too! Well that is all I've got tonight! love, kim
